Summer Skirtie Love

I don't like skirts/dresses much myself- but on Naomi- LOVE THEM! She looks adorable... so glad I had a little girl!

Tricia knitted this adorable skirtie for her out of some yarn I bought that reminded me of Spring and Summer. Just had to share!

Ethan the Builder

Ethan is just like Bob the Builder. Can he fix it?? Yes, he can! Well, it was actually the assembly of our new hand-weight rack. Josiah started putting it together and Ethan just had to help his Papa! He put the screws together with the washers and help tighten everything up. He was so focused on the project- it was serious business! Some good father-son bonding time!

Nomi's new Play Station

I used to have this wooden step stool as a child. It also could be used as a chair if you swung the arm up. When my parents moved, my dad brought it over for the kids. It's just been sitting in the garage, but I finally brought it inside and cleaned it up. I would have never guessed it would become Naomi's "favorite" thing! She was instantly drawn to it, stood on it for hours and every morning walks straight to it and sits down. We call it her desk chair because she sits on the step stool at the coffee table... thus, her own Play Station. It's really quite cute!

Backyard Fun!

We have TONS of dandelions, tulips and other flower/weeds in the backyard... it's a dream come true for Ethan! So much to pick and so little time. He brings me lots of "flowers" to put into vases- so I'm one lucky mama! Naomi is loving the outdoors too and tries to keep up with her big brother. Poor girl, she wants to be 3 so badly!

Since it was near 80 degrees yesterday, we were outside playing. After Ethan's nap (which was very short), he insisted that he was still tired (imagine that!) and needed to sleep outside on the deck. Too funny... but it kept him occupied for quite a while so I could make dinner.

Easter

Happy Easter! We had a great morning at church (Papa sang, of course!, and he was wonderful). Then, G&G Donbroski came over
with Aunt Sarah (aka Sabie as E affectionately calls her). We opened Easter presents, Ethan had some of his chocolate bunny, and Grammie rolled Ethan up in the yoga mat (see above photo)! It was quite the morning! We had a wonderful brunch at the Northland
Inn and the best part was meeting the Bunny. Naomi saw the bunny and started squealing in her chair, waving her arms, and shouting, "HI! HI!" It was hilarious! She was in AWE of the bunny. Ethan was equally pleased to meet the bunny, but more interested in the basket of candy. I'm pretty sure he'd already had more than his share of candy for the year, but oh well. We let the kids run down the long hall at the hotel which they loved. It was a good day to rejoice that Jesus is risen and alive! Happy Easter!

Good friends & Good Times at Chuck-E-Cheese

Erin and I braved Chuck-E-Cheese today with the kids. We had a coupon for pizza, pop & tokens! The boys were obsessed with anything they could drive (imagine that?!). Naomi was just excited to be along for the fun. She did get a chance to ride as passenger in the bus and rode the Barney car once. She was delighted! Ethan and Gabe earned a whopping 208 tickets today from their winnings (woohoo!) and each scored a small soccer ball and 2 suckers! Of course, they were thrilled. Thanks for a great morning of fun!
